I have a lawn mower with Briggs & Stratton 375 Sprint engine that is very difficult to start. Any help please.?

I changed the spark plug air filter and clean the fuel used and replaced by new ones. I do not want to start. It has always been difficult to start.

There will be a magnet on the wheel passes the magnet (the spark plug leads from the magneto). If a mower is left to the elements, the surface coating of the magnet and the wheel can be oxidized, which prevent the magnet to generate the spark needed. You can clean the rust with sandpaper or (my preference) a fine drywall sanding sheets. A light coat of sanding oil help prevent further rusting. There are a number of possible causes, which is one.
