can put nylon strings on a steel string acoustic guitar?
Nylon sounds much better, but I want to keep the sound I have now. Is it appropriate to put on a nylon string acoustic guitar steel?
As others have said, is not recommended because the neck is steel-string designed to handle the stress of steel strings and nylon strings have less tension. It will do no immediate harm, especially if you loosen the the soul a full turn or two to compensate. But if you follow the nylon strings for too long Your neck can bend or deform irreversibly. I do not recommend it, but if you want try anyway, to get nylon strings with ball ends Ball (Martin Darco manufactures strings with ball joints, and there are also Black Diamond Strings ball ends). Put on a nylon string guitar string, steel is not as bad as putting steel strings on a guitar with nylon strings – whatever you do, do not do that!
